1. Pho

Pho is a Vietnamese noodle dish served with a variety of many different types of meats. Different vegetables are also often placed in the dish. Depending on your  preference, the dish is also served with a hot sriracha sauce. Pho is very common in the United States especially in areas with a high Asian concentration. Most of  all, pho is absolutely delicious and one of the dishes you have to try before you die!

2. Kalbi Ribs

Kalbi rib is one of the most delicious Korean dishes because of its delicious meat and marinade. It is very common in the United States and will be served at almost  any Korean restaurant. Despite the fact that its widespread, Kalbi is still one of the best and most tasty Korean dishes on this list.

3. Pad Thai

Pad Thai is a dish from Thailand that consists of stir-fried rice noodles along with many Thai condiments, peanuts, bean sprouts, and any combination of meats. The  dish is very popular in Thailand, but also very popular in Thai restaurants in the United States. US Pad Thai usually packs more oil into the mix whereas Pad Thai in  Thailand is more dry and healthier. You can eat Pad Thai at any Thai restaurant, but the authentic Pad Thai from Thailand is much tastier.

4. Dim Sum

Dim Sum refers to a collection of small appetizer-style dishes originating from China. The idea is to try sample different small dishes for a full meal, usually  brunch. Dishes usually include between two and four pieces of a certain food like dumplings, pastries, gyoza, sesame buns, and many others. Dim sum can be found at  certain restaurants in the United States.

5. Banh Mi

Banh Mi is a Vietnamese-style sandwich, and one of the most delicious sandwiches you will ever taste. The inside has vegetables and meat and delicious sauces, and the  bread which they serve it in is amazing. Banh Mi is very widely available in the United States and can often be found in most Vietnamese restaurants or Pho  restaurants.

6. Kobe Beef

This beef is the beef that Kobe Bryant was named after, therefore you know it has to be good. Kobe beef is a very expensive type of beef from Kobe, Japan because it is beef from a very specific breed of cow that is only in one area in Japan. Therefore the beef is very expensive and is considered a delicacy in Japan. You can find Kobe beef in the United States, however, in my experience it is not as good as the ones in Japan.

7. Hot Pot

It is not so much a food as a style of cooking. Hot Pot is a Chinese way of cooking meat and vegetables by leaving a bowl of boiling water in the middle of the table  and throwing various meats and veggies into the bowl to cook. The food is also eaten usually with a hoisin sauce among other sauces. It is a fun and delicious way to  enjoy your food.

8. Sushi

If you haven’t had sushi then you’ve been living under a rock. Sushi is one of the best products coming from Japan, and it can be made in a variety of ways. Most sushi  fish is raw, however, the sushi-grade fish is of very high quality which makes it delicious despite being raw. Sushi can further be divided into different categories,  including sushi rolls (which may include rice and other ingredients like vegetables, sauces, and seaweed wrap), sashimi (fresh cut slices of sushi-grade raw fish), or  nigiri (raw fish plus rice). Generally sushi is served with wasabi and soy sauce.

9. Hibachi Grill

Hibachi grill is a popular Japanese style of cooking food right in front of you on what is called a “hibachi” grill. The chef usually puts on a show while he’s cooking  to entertain the patrons of a hibachi restaurant. Nowadays there are many great Hibachi restaurants in the United States.

10. Peking Duck

If you get the chance to go to Beijing, then the #1 food that you need to try is the Peking Duck. The delicious thin crispy duck skin usually gets eaten with onions,  pancakes, Asian-style pancakes, and special duck sauce. There are places to get Peking duck besides Beijing, but you won’t find a place that has tastier Peking duck  than in Beijing.
