The largest Buddhist flag made of fresh flower in Asia

Buddhism Flag is made of many various materials such as fabric, paper, plastic, paper flowers with connected from the colorful lanters ever. Taking the original idea from Vesak Day to make largest Buddhism Flag in Asia by fresh flower. It is an initiative of the monks and nuns at Dai Bi Pagoda (Ninh Binh province)

On the Thurday morning, May 7, 2014  Dai Bi Pagoda was formally organized Vesak United Nations in 2014, the ribbon cutting inauguration ceremony appointed Dai Bi’s mastermonk at Gia Xuan commune, Gia Vien district, Ninh Binh province

The flower Buddhist flag has a size of 15x4m, which is the Vesak Day (Buddha’s Birthday). The five colors of the flag represent the solidarity and unity of the Buddhism in the five continents. Flag made from 255,800 fresh flowers include: daisies, orchids, Sala - symbolizing Buddhist calendar  year 2558. In addition, the ceremory with approximately 10,000 participants, including nearly 1,500 international delegates from 95 countries around the world, along with tens of thousands of Vietnamese Buddhists and people.

The representative of the Asia Book of Records granted the certificate and cup recognizing the flag as “the largest Buddhist flag made of flower in Asia to Dai Bi Pagoda.

The largest Buddhist flag made of fresh flower in Asia The new statue of King-Monk Tran Nhan Tong was made monolithic bronze, weighs 139 tonnes and is 10 meters high. It was placed in the An Ky Sinh Square on Yen Tu Mountain, about 1,000m above sea level. Hanoi Construction Fine Art Co., Ltd. executed this statue.
